Natural disasters and conflicts annually devastate cities. How can we better protect, enhance resilience, and rebuild cities?

This is a new project at our lab with two research directions.

The first direction explores better ways to rebuild cities after disasters, incorporating urban renewal and architectural heritage ideas.

The second direction investigates methods to protect cities from artificial intelligence using spatial design.
