Gal has previously worked in the high-tech sector as a software engineer, specializing in geographic information systems, big data, and transport planning. This practical experience complements their academic background and provides valuable industry perspective.

Currently, Gal’s research focuses on urban renewal policies and the development of an urban AI platform designed to host machine learning models for the built environment. This innovative work aims to leverage AI technologies to address complex urban challenges and improve city planning processes.
