About

Yaswanth Alla is an Ph.D. student at the AAIRL. He holds an M.Sc. in Computer Science from Wright State University, a Post Graduate Diploma in Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning from the National Institute of Technology (NIT) Warangal, and a B.Tech. in Electronics and Communication Engineering from JNTUK.

Before joining the lab, Yaswanth developed intelligent and interactive systems as a Developer at Tata Consultancy Services (TCS). His past projects spans multiple domains of AI and spatial computing. He developed an optimized computer vision pipeline for real-time augmented reality ad insertion in video streams and built “Vibe,” an autonomous agent designed to navigate and operate Android applications to mimic human behavior. Additionally, he contributed to “Xperi,” leveraging AI and distributed computing to deliver web-browser-based AR experiences for education, and integrated Large Language Models with Unity XR to generate customizable virtual worlds and smart NPC avatars without pre-scripted behavior trees.

At AAIRL, Yaswanth applies his expertise in Generative AI and immersive technologies to his current research on visual chatbots and synthetic humans. His work aims to enhance how users interact with complex simulated environments, directly contributing to the lab’s broader mission of exploring AI-driven architectural design, urban renewal, and human-centric spatial development.
